BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 2f Brake Second Open (BSO) 9513 was built at Derby in 1974 to diagram number 189 of lot number 30861. It has 32 seats.[1]

Eastern Rail Services fleet

It is one of several Mark 2 vehicles operated by Eastern Rail Services (ERS) and in May 2017 was based at Washwood Heath, unlike ERS' main rakes which were based at the Mid-Norfolk Railway.

9500 at the SVRSevern Valley Railway

With other ERS vehicles, in May 2017 ERS hired 9513 to the SVRSevern Valley Railway for the Spring Diesel Festival, its air-braking capability being used by visiting mainline locomotives. 9513 was painted in BRBritish Rail or British Railways Blue Pullman livery.
