BRBritish Rail or British Railways Mark 1 Tourist Standard Open (TSO) 4345 was built by BRCWBirmingham Railway Carriage & Wagon Company in 1957 to diagram number 93 of lot number 20207. The ‘Open Second’ seats 64 passengers at tables, with three cross-vestibules to enable speedier loading and unloading of passengers.
16202 arrived on the SVRSevern Valley Railway in March 1988 from Carnforth. It is normally used in the BRBritish Rail or British Railways Crimson & Cream running set, and is owned by the Arley Station Fund.
