The ‘Open Second’ seats 64 passengers at tables, with three cross-vestibules to enable speedier loading and unloading of passengers.
16202 arrived on the SVR ==Service==4345 was built by BRCW in March 1988 from Carnforth1957 to diagram number 93 (AC204), lot number 20207. It is normally used entered service as E4345 in the BR Crimson & Cream running setMarch 1957, and is owned by briefly becoming W4345 in September 1985 before returning to the Eastern region as E4345 in April 1986.<ref name=Longworth>[[Arley Station FundBibliography#Other References|Longworth (2013)]]p.54.</ref> During repairs in 2021 the prefix 'GE' was found under many layers of paint: during its time in the Eastern region it was numbered GE4345, signifying allocation to BR’s Great Eastern lines.<ref>Railway Heritage Register Carriage Survey</ref>

==LinksPreservation==4345 and 4593 were selected as the best of a number examined at Carnforth, and both arrived on the SVR from there on 16 and 22 March 1988 respectively. At the time they were intended as replacements for two other TSOs, [[BR 4399 Tourist Standard Open|4399]] and [[Carriages formerly resident on the SVR|4584]],<ref>SVR News 87</ref> although in the event 4584 was retained until 1995 while 4399 is still resident on the SVR. 4345 received a repaint at Kidderminster on arrival, retaining the BR(W) chocolate and cream livery which it had carried in the Exhibition train.<ref>SVR News 89</ref> It remained in this livery until April 1994 when, at the request of owners the [[Arley Station Fund]], it was repainted into BR crimson and cream livery during a three month overhaul in Bewdley Paint Shop.<ref>SVR News 112</ref> 4345 was used between 1995 and 1997 in the filming of the BBC comedy series [http[Oh Doctor Beeching!]] along with [[BR 9220 Brake Standard Open|BSO 9220]], [[BR 1853 Restaurant Miniature Buffet|RMB 1853]] and [[46521|Ivatt 2MT 46521]].<ref>[https://wwwforum.cssvr-online.vintagecarriagestrustorg.org/seuk/CarriageInfoviewtopic.aspphp?Reft=1323 3372 SVR-Online forum]</ref> On [[Severn Valley Railway Timeline 2000-2009#2009|Monday 28 September 2009]], 4345 was the coach next to [[43106| LMS 43106]] when the locomotive’s tender became [[Accidents#Hampton_Loade_derailment|derailed]] at [[Hampton Loade]]. One of 4345’s buffers was trapped under the derailed tender and had to be removed on vintagecarriagestrustsite.org Other damage to 4345 was relatively minor, although the steam heat shut-off cock on the buffer beam was smashed to pieces while the buckeye coupling and draw bar were also affected. Repairs were carried out at [[Carriage Repair Works|Kidderminster]]in time for the carriage to be available for traffic the following weekend.<ref>SVR News 168<br/ref4345 is normally used in the BR Crimson & Cream running set.
