It arrived on the SVR in 1974 from Cowlairs, having been bought by [[The 75069 Fund]].<ref>SVR Stock Book Ninth Edition</ref>
The photograph shows 34562 in March 2015 at Bridgnorth in 'Set C', the BR crimson and cream set, numbered W34562 (a number it did not carry in service).
