==Service and preservation==25498 arrived on the SVR was built at York in May 1983 from Heaton1958 to Diagram 146 (AA201), having been bought by the L.M.SLot 30374. & B.R. Coach Fund. It was overhauled and received a full repaint entered service in 2000, and is a regular the Eastern region in Set C1958, the where it remained throughout BR Crimson & Cream running setservice. 25498 arrived on the SVR on 16 May 1983 from Heaton, having been bought by the L.M.S. & B.R. Coach Fund. It was overhauled and received a full repaint in 2000, and in early 2017 it underwent restoration at [[Kidderminster Carriage Shed]] (rather than the [[Carriage Repair Works]]), including roof repairs, overhauling of door locks and repaint.<ref>'Branch Lines' May 2017 e-newsletter</ref> It is a regular in [[Carriages#Set_C|Set C]], the BR Crimson & Cream running set.
