  • 1861 With construction of the Severn Valley Railway still in progress, a Special General Meeting of the Severn Valley Railway Co. was held to approve the application for a Bill to construct the Kidderminster Loop Line (this early proposal never came to fruition and the Loop was eventually completed by the GWR in 1878).[1]
  • 1975 DRG 64 305 commenced its journey to the SVR from Stolberg, West Germany, where the locomotive had been in store since purchase the previous year.
  • 1999 A two-day working party was organise to re-rope the 30-ton Steam Crane[2].
