It operated the docks and railways at see Bristol Harbour, Avonmouth Docks, Portishead and Royal Portbury Dock.[1] Part of the railway complex is operated by the Bristol Harbour Railway, a heritage railway operated by Bristol Museums, Galleries & Archives.
The Authority bought wagons from railway companies for re-use and a number survive on heritage railways, including the SVRSevern Valley Railway.
