Relationship to Buildwas Sand Quarry and the SSSI
Buildwas Sand Quarry SSSI is [https://designatedsites.naturalengland.org.uk/SiteDetail.aspx?SiteCode=S1005992&SiteName=buildwas%20&countyCode=&responsiblePerson=&SeaArea=&IFCAArea= here]. A look at the 1927 OS map on this page and the current one at the Natural England site suggests the SSSI is on the other (east) side of Much Wenlock Road than where the siding was, and the two seem adjacent but unrelated?
