===Water tower===
The water tower came from the ex-LNWR station at Whitchurch in Shropshire and was installed by the SVR on the site of the original cattle dock during 1979 and 1980, being first used in on Saturday 20 June 1981during the GW Weekend.<ref name = "SVR61">SVR News 61</ref>. Unlike at Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, the water supply at Highley is not specially treated, and so the column is only used on rare occasions such as galas.
