It is located on the 1 in 100 climb from mid-way between Bridgnorth towards and Hampton Loade. In recent years, just north of milepost 149rebuilding the platform was completed in 2019 and the water tower was dismantled in 2021. The main B4555 Bridgnorth to Highley road passes over Although the railway at this locationstation no longer features in daily operations, although the railway is not visible from itresumed use during gala events in 2023 more than 40 years since regular timetabled trains ceased.
