The reservoir, which is a BR Class 50 diesel locomotive. It managed by Severn Trent Water, was originally acquired opened in 1991 as a source of spares but was found to be in good condition 1968 and entered SVR service in 1994covers 29 acres. It is also main line registeredopen to the public and is used by the Trimpley Sailing Club, while other activities include angling, wildlife watching and walking.
