The SVR archives were set up in 2009 and are held in an upstairs room at [[The Engine House]] in an upstairs . The archive room shared with holds a vast collection of information dating back to the catering storesearliest days of the SVR’s preservation.<br>As well as a full set It includes every copy of SVR News from Issue 1 to the present, the archive holds every timetable and promotional booklet, plus many old SVR posters and timetables, and a large collection of press cuttingsfrom 1965 onwards.<brref>Express Points February 2019</ref> The The SVR Archive has an informal agreement with [[Kidderminster Railway Museum]] that any documents donated to either organisation relating to the SVR in the preservation era will go to Highley, while any relating to the railway pre-preservation, go to Kidderminster.

The Archive also holds a large collection of photos, mainly of the SVR in the preservation era.
