==2022==
2022 started with the COVD-19 pandemic continuing into a third year in the UK, with some mask wearing restrictions in place. The 2022 season was delayed until April to allow Network Rail to replace the long footbridge at Kidderminster, and for preparation for the roof and crane works at Bridgnorth Loco Works to start in May. No major infrastructure works were planned, in recognition of the SVR's financial state after two years' disruption.
