If it finds one, it creates the yeartext & link. If not, or having dead linksit goes to the next previous day, I and so on for ten days. It then does the same for the following ten days. It will only want create one link in each direction, the first one it comes to show the link , and if there are no pages within ten days of the start page exists, it returns a blank. I think IThere've got it now. I know there was s probably a problem with the <nowiki>{{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} far more elegant and {{NUMBEROFFILES}}</nowiki> links slowing everything down when I tried them ( {{NUMBEROFARTICLES}} articles and {{NUMBEROFFILES}} photos efficient way to do it,since you ask)but hey ho, but this is only looking for the existence how bus mechanics write computer code. I'll start creating On This Day pages (anyone else is welcome to create or add to them as well, of course). When there's enough that most have got another one pagewithin ten days, so hopefully shouldn't make any noticeable differencewe can go live with a link on the Main Page.-->
