*1852: The [[Oxford Worcester and Wolverhampton Railway | Oxford Worcester and Wolverhampton]] line between Stourbridge and Evesham via Kidderminster opened with a special train on 1 May 1852, with normal services beginning 2 days later.<ref>[[Bibliography#Books | Boynton (2002)]]</ref>
*1859: A second station building replaced the first building at Kidderminster.<ref>[[Bibliography#Books | Mitchell and Smith (2007), p12]]</ref>

*1878: The [[Kidderminster Loop Line]] to Bewdley opened.
