John Austin has previously lived at Bridgnorth and worked on the SVR as a volunteer. His paintings have been used for the pub signs at Bridgnorth and the front cover of the SVR Timetable. He is a Fellow of the Guild of Railway Artists.

Alan Reade, of Claverley, near Bridgnorth, has produced series of paintings to raise funds for the restoration of GWR 4930 Hagley Hall, upgrade the station buildings at Bridgnorth and limited edition prints to support the Bridgnorth Loco Works 2022 upgrade project.[1]

- A colour print of 5690 Leander at the Severn Valley Railway drawn by Stuart Black in 1986 forms part of the national collection[2].
- Three Black and White Silver gelatin prints by Denis Doran, 1989 entitled: Early Morning. Locomotives and Rolling Stock, Bewdley; Early Morning, Bewdley Railway Station, and Thomas the Tank's Friend.
