On November 14 in SVR history.
- 1981 5690 Leander, which had just undergone a contract boiler repair and overhaul, was re-dedicated by Commander Drake of HMS Leander in a ceremony at Bridgnorth.[1]
- 1990 BR Mk 1 Bar Car 1883 arrived on the SVR.[2] It left the railway in 2007
- 1998 In her centenary year, HE 686 began two days of Kidderminster to Bewdley shuttle services, her only appearance on the SVR in Manchester Ship Canal black livery.[3]
- 2015 The SVR held a 'Manor 50' weekend on 14-15 November to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the end of steam on the Cambrian network. 7812 Bradley Manor and 7812 Erlestoke Manor were joined for the occasion by guest 7820 Dinmore Manor; the three locomotives being the last of their class to work on the Cambrian mainline.'Manor
