- 2013 The Signals Department turned out in force to clear up following the previous day's fire at Kidderminster signal box and achieved full working of the signalling equipment.[1]
- 2017 The film The Black Prince premiered at the Manchester Film Festival. Filming had taken place using GWR 2857 at Bewdley in 2014.
