- 1935 Northwood Halt was opened by the GWR.[1]
- 1972 'Mary', the SVR's second diesel shunter, arrived on the SVR.[2]
- 1983 The two-day Great Western Weekend included a celebration of the centenary of Highley signal box. 686 The Lady Armaghdale acted as yard shunter at Highley[3].
- 2014 The SVR(H) Board declined a proposal to acquire the Inchcape garage site at Bridgnorth.
