  • 1861 During the Railway's construction, a labourer was killed while carrying out blasting work in Mount Pleasant Tunnel.[1]
  • 1901 The GWRGreat Western Railway General Manager approved the provision of additional sidings at Bridgnorth, including improvements to signalling.[2]
  • 1976 Sunday services in January and February began for the first time in SVRSevern Valley Railway preservation[3].
