Summary

The British Rail Class 799 HydroFLEX is a prototype class of bi-mode multiple unit adapted from Class 319 electric multiple units. It uses a hydrogen fuel cell while retaining the existing 25 kV AC and 750 V DC equipment. The train was on static display at Kidderminster during the Railway 200: Trains through the Ages event on 5-6 July 2025.
