- 2004 Following a major overhaul, Large Prairie 5164 moved under her own power for the first time in more than 20 years.[1]
- 2012 Following six weeks of work to install new drainage and track in and adjacent to Bewdley Tunnel, the line re-opened between Kidderminster and Bewdley.
- 2021: During the third COVID-19 lockdown, two trespassers with abseiling equipment were disturbed by an engineers' train on Victoria Bridge. The police were informed.
