The Halt was filmed by Cental Central TV as Episode 12, Series 5 of ‘Dramarama’, a British children's anthology series broadcast on ITV between 1983 and 1989. [[Arley]] became “Newton Halt” for the filming in April 1987, which included BR Tyseley’s only ‘all blue’ 3 car DMU borrowed for the occasion.
