The Halt was filmed by Central TV as Series 5, Episode 13 of ‘Dramarama’, a British children's anthology series broadcast on ITV between 1983 and 1989. This episode aired 13 July 1987. Football hooligans get their comeuppance when they find themselves abandoned on a deserted railway station where strange things happen and voices make arrival announcements for trains that never come.[1]
