GWR 813 at Highley

The GWR 813 Preservation Fund is an unincorporated membership organisation founded in 1966. There is currently no annual subscription and membership is granted to those making a minimum donation amount.

It owns the GWR 813 Saddle Tank locomotive and many of the GWR goods wagons on the SVR, as well as a number of other items on the SVR and on other preserved lines, with their collection numbering almost 100. See Rolling stock owned by The GWR 813 Preservation Fund for a full list of the Fund's rolling stock based at the SVR.

The Fund runs a sales stand at Kidderminster Station.

On 23 November 2019 the Rouse family donated to the Fund a large portion of David Rouse's photographic archive. It will take some time for the Fund to go through the collection.[1]

As of January 2021 the Fund intends to secure charitable status in the near future.[2]
