The 82045 Steam Locomotive Trust
The 82045 Steam Locomotive Trust is building a new locomotive of the BR Standard 3MT 2‑6‑2 82000 tank class, none of which survived into preservation. Unlike many of the current new build projects which are recreating larger main-line types, 82045 is intended specifically for heritage line use.

The Eardington Explorer
On Friday the 17th of April, 2015, the trust ran a special train, "The Eardington Explorer", between Bridgnorth and Hampton Loade, calling specially at the disused Eardington Halt[1]. The aim of the tour was to raise funds for the manufacture of 82045's boiler. The train consisted of locomotive 1450 and GWR Toplight coaches 9055, 3930, and 9369. Tickets for the event were priced at £19.65, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the SVR in preservation.
