The 200 Club

Revision as of 10:17, 4 April 2019 by Robin (talk | contribs) (125 Club for a while)

The 200 Club helps raise funds for SVR volunteer projects.

The Severn Valley Railway Association began a 100 club in 1983.[1] By 1991 it had become 'The 125 Club'[2] and eventually became The 200 Club, in which form it has operated for many years. In return for a small monthly membership fee, members can win one of five monthly cash prizes with an enhanced draw held at Christmas. All profits are reinvested in volunteer projects throughout the railway. From time to time vacancies in the Club are advertised in SVR News and Supporters Newsletters[3][4].
