It looks like my next step is to work out how to access the access log. I had a quick look earlier, but it's not as simple as I hoped. I'll put a bit more time in to it later.<br>

Seems the bots may be smart enough to confirm emails as well, so I've removed that change I did, so it should be back to how it is. Regarding the comment on the helpdesk query about alternate access to the database, I've made sure that the old versions of wikis we had installed are now unable to be used at all.
