The 61 lever [[Sutton_Bridge_Junction_Signal_Box|signal box ]] which controlled the junction was built in 1913 and was is still in use in 2007<ref>Country Railway Routes - Kidderminster to Shrewsbury, Vic Mitchell & Kevin Smith (2007).</ref>. The Severn Valley Line passed behind the box, while the Shrewsbury & Hereford Railway passed in front of it.
