Regent Oil & Texaco Wagon 431

Private Owner Class B Aviation Fuel Tank No 431 was built by Powell Duffryn in 1961 for Regent Oil, and was later used by Texaco as number TEX 47881. It was used in trains for transporting aviation fuel from Edinburgh to Prestwick Airport, for which it was given BR Registration Number BR(W) 457.

It arrived on the SVR in July 1984, and has been used to store water for firefighting. It is seen in Texaco livery at Bewdley in March 2015.
