Many artists have taken the Severn Valley Railway as inspiration for their paintings.

Alan Reade, of Claverley, near Bridgnorth, has produced three series of paintings to raise funds for the restoration of GWR 4930 Hagley Hall and to upgrade the station buildings at Bridgnorth.

Shropshire artist Dick Skilton has painted all the stations on the SVR

Bewdley artist Sophie St. Clair Pedroza has produced a series of paintings based on the SVR, some of which are available as prints from Bewdley Station Fund Shop.

John Austin has previously lived at Bridnorth and worked on the SVR as a volunteer. His paintings have been used for the pub signs at Bridgnorth and the front cover of the SVR Timetable.
