It was allocated to Henry Pooley and Sonsis a type ‘Open A’, signifying a company who serviced railway weighbridges and weighing machines10-ton capacity open wagon with a sheet support (which it no longer has) but not equipped with vacuum brakes. It used to carry test weights and given was acquired from Avonmouth Docks in 1981, arriving on the departmental number DW 150262.
