• 1994 The new footbridge outside Bridgnorth Station was opened to the public.
• 2001 The Hampton Loade Station Gala featured the SVR's first National Velocipede Rally.
• 2019 Due to a fallen tree on the line between Highley and Hampton Loade, trains ran between Kidderminster and Highley only with a vintage bus service operating between Arley and Bridgnorth.
