Remove 'as of' from things unlikely to change in the near future
After service, 9627 was used as an office at Roath Dock, Cardiff. It arrived on the SVR in September 1972 having been acquired by Mr Mike Wilkinson. From the mid-1970s it was used as part of the SVR's GWR main-line rake of carriages as well as on the SVR itself. Ownership was later assumed by SVR(H).
2017, 9627 is regularly used as part of the Severn Valley Limited dining set. It is finished in GWR 1934-42 livery featuring the ‘shirt-button’ roundel.
