9084 was built in 1951 and bought by the SVR in 1970. In 2007, it was bought from [[Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) PLC|SVR(H)]] by the [[Severn Valley Railway Charitable Trust Ltd | The SVR Charitable Rolling Stock Trust]] in 1970for five pounds.
