GWR 80684 is a 10-ton 'Starfish' ballast wagon and was built at Swindon in 1936 to Diagram P15, Lot 1215. It finished its working life with BR(W) at Swindon, having been fitted with a new floor by BR shortly before decommissioning.
80684 arrived on the SVR in April 1984 as one of four acquired at the time for P.W. work. It is owned by [[The GWR 813 Preservation Fund]].
