GWR 60906 Ballast Wagon
GWR 10-ton 4-wheel steel ballast wagon 60906 was built in 1915 to Diagram P14, Lot 793. It was acquired by The GWR 813 Preservation Fund in 1990[1] and arrived on the SVR on 31 March 1991 from Cardiff Docks.[2].
Filming took place in October 2000 for an episode of the 2001 TV series “ Off the Rails” featuring Vince Henderson. The restoration of GWR 60906 was one of the items featured.
