GWR 3429 Fruit D Van

GWR Fruit Van 3429

This long wheelbase ‘Fruit D’ Van is a GWR design and was built by BR at Swindon in 1950. In service it was electrically lit and steam heated.

It was acquired in the 1970s, and is situated at Highley adjacent to the Signal Box.
