• 1982 GWR 98480 5 plank Open goods wagons 98480 and 108085 arrived on the SVR from the Port of Bristol Authority’s Avonmouth Docks.
• 1983 43106 and 80079 took the Welsh Marches Pullman between Shrewsbury and Hereford. 4930 Hagley Hall was on duty between Hereford and Newport.
• 1987 The signal gantry at Kidderminster was erected.
• 2014 The SVR was seeking legal advice concerning the continued lack of progress on a boiler for 6634.
