Plasser and Theurer 07-16 Universal Liner/Tamper DR73202 was built in 1973 as works number 1041, and allocated BR Departmental number DB965957.<ref name=Butcher>Roger Butcher, ‘Track Machines, Second Edition’ (1985)</ref> It was initially allocated to the London Midland Region<ref>[[Bibliography#Other References|Larkin Vol 2 (2012)]] p.41.</ref> In 1985 it was in use in the Birmingham area.<ref name=Butcher/>
OntTrackPlant.com suggests this machine is now owned by B&R Track Services. It has been photographed at the Midland Railway Centre at Butterley between 1999 and 2002, at the SVR in 2007, and at the Llangollen Railway in 2009.
