BR Corridor Second 25498

The BR Mark 1 Corridor Second (SK) was the most prolific class of BR standard coach, with over 2,200 built. No 25498 was built at York in 1958 to diagram number 146 of lot number 30374.

25498 arrived on the SVR in May 1983 from Heaton, having been bought by the L.M.S. & B.R. Coach Fund. It was overhauled and received a full repaint in 2000, and is a regular in Set C, the BR Crimson & Cream running set. It is now owned by The SVR Charitable Trust.
