Kellet and Frankley
:A long shot. One Abram Kellett of Ealing was active in the area in 1904 in connection with Elan Valley works --Patrick Hearn (talk) 16:50, 5 May 2021 (UTC)
::It's certainly possible. Frankley Reservoir is at the end of the Elan Valley pipeline, which caused the siding to be built at Folly Point a couple of years before, and it was the sort of project which might have paid for a siding to be provided at Kidderminster too. The surprising thing to me is the relatively small size of the pit and the limited area it is in, allied to the fact that there is no real evidence of it today. --Robin (talk) 15:41, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
:::Kellett's initial was A according to the auction notice, so it's looking likely that this was Abram. Other circumstantial evidence is that, at the same time, the same auctioneers were also auctioning the plant and machinery from the construction of Frankley Reservoir owing to completion of the contract. --Graham Phillips 110 (talk) 19:58, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
