It is thought to have been built at Wolverton SVR between 1910 1972 and 19231975. The van arrived on locomotive worked at Chatham Docks until 1972, when it was sold and moved to the SVR in November 1993 from Gosportat [[Bridgnorth]]. After spells at other railways including Chasewater and Long Marston, where it had been the locomotive returned to the Chatham Historic Dockyard Railway in use by the Royal Navy numbered RNAD 3382009.
