707261 began life as a Container Flat (CONFLAT A), built by BR at Ashford in 1957. It was later converted for use as a crane runner.
It arrived on the SVR in December 1982 from Bristol, having been acquired by [[The GWR 813 Preservation Fund]]. It is stored in the ‘Bewdley Triangle’‘[[Bewdley Triangle]]’, the junction of the Stourport Branch and the present day SVR south of Bewdley, where it is paired with [[GWR 446 6Tons 16cwt Hand Crane | Hand Crane GWR 446]].
