===Water tower===
The water tower was installed by the SVR and first used in June 1981. It came from the ex-LNWR station at Whitchurch in Shropshire. Unlike at Bridgnorth and Kidderminster, the water supply at Highley is not specially treated, and so the column is only used on rare occasions such as galas.
