English: Bridgnorth station, Severn Valley Railway 1972. View NW, towards Shrewsbury - before the ex-GW line Shrewsbury - Hartlebury was closed from 2/12/63. This scene was only two years after the Severn Valley Railway took over. Ex-LMS Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0 No. 46443 is tender-first on a train to Hampton Loade, to which the SVR was reopened thus far; two years later they reached Bewdley and 12 years later - Kidderminster. |
