WD 314153 Well Wagon

WD Well Wagon 314153

This 50 ton capacity Bogie Well Wagon was built by GRCW in 1944 for the War Department, hence the designated telegraphic code ‘Warwell’. Its registration number was WD(M) 1150, although the original wagon number is unknown. It was later numbered 314153.

The wagon is seen in the photograph outside Bridgnorth Boiler Shop..
