Virtual Murder was a 6 part BBC investigative drama series broadcast in 1992, starring Nicholas Clay and Kim Thomson. Filming of one episode (Last Train to Hell and Back?) featured pannier tank [[GWR Pannier 5764 |5764]] which was required to run over "the victim", a stuntman who leaped out of the way just in time, to the relief of the footplate crew! [[Former Residents|6960]], [[LMS Stanier Mogul 42968|42968 ]] and [[Former Residents|The Great Marquess ]] also took part in this episode.
