SVR member since 1966. Founder member in 1977 of LNER (SVR) Coach Fund and its successor the LNER Carriage Group. Assisted with the acquisition and restoration of several of the LNER teak set of carriages. Now assists the SVR workshop staff with the ongoing overhaul of the LNER Set N and also assists the restoration of GWR Toad 17410.
