The Weather In The Streets

The Weather in the Streets was firstly a novel by Rosamond Lehmann, set in the 1920s and published in 1936. Olivia Curtis, a young woman, has an affair with a married man, Rollo Spencer, who she meets on a railway journey (after having met him, initially, years before at a ball). Directed by Don Homfray and Gavin Millar from a screenplay by Julian Mitchell, it became a 1983 a BBC TV movie production starring Michael York, Lisa Eichhorn and Joanna Lumley. It was first broadcast on 12 February 1984.[1]
